Missing School is Hard
Why It’s Worth Missing School for the Image Summit Youth Leadership Conference
What if missing two days of school actually helped you learn more about yourself, your community, and your future? That’s what the Image Summit is all about — a two-day youth leadership conference for Colorado students in grades 5–12.

Be Inspired
At the Image Summit, students step out of the classroom and into real-world learning. You’ll rotate through seven breakout workshops on topics like leadership, art and music, self-worth, and community organizing — designed to help you discover your strengths and how to use them to make a difference.

You’ll also get a front-row seat to local government in action. On Day 2, students meet elected officials, ask questions, and see how decisions are made — giving you the tools to lead change in your own school or community. We close out the conference with food trucks and entertainment.

Beyond the workshops and speakers, the best part might be the people you’ll meet. Hundreds of students from across Colorado come together to share ideas, build confidence, and connect with others who care about making an impact.

So yes, you’ll miss a couple of classes — but you’ll gain something that can’t be found in a textbook: leadership skills, lifelong connections, and the belief that your voice truly matters.
